You've made an excellent case for anyone looking for a "winner" to never bother with BAPists nor NRX, &c.: these people are the castaways of the O.G. castaways, the tribe kicked out of, what is it by now, 113 countries? They are both cowardly and deceptive; that's a package deal, but deception is also a marker of low intelligence. This circles back to deception because the PR is that they are high in intelligence, and in this circle, we all know where to go to debunk that.

The photo used and mention of the longhouse tells me that this essay is primarily concerned with BAP not the Desantis types. If that is the case then you clearly misunderstand the entirety of the BAP phenomenon at such a fundamental level that this entire piece is pointless.

The DeSantis comment didn’t really age well in hindsight and I admit to struggling at the time of writing to draw a direct irl relationship. If I were to rewrite it today I would have said JD Vance instead of DeSantis. I don’t think I was totally off the mark, but very much wide of center. You are wrong, however, that my analysis is rendered invalid by that single technical inaccuracy

In my defense, DeSantis was a speaker at NatCon at the time of my writing and many people who fit into the model I’ve presented were speakers there, including Vance. NatCon would fit into AZ, in my view, however much individual people in the BAPsphere may or may not cohere with that specific vision (NatCons = NeoCons 2.0 regardless)
